The Beldi cup is the everyday drinking vessel of Morocco. This one is made the same way it has always been made — hand-shaped from local terracotta clay, fired in a traditional kiln, and partially glazed to leave the raw clay visible at the base.
The glaze retains heat well. The unglazed lower half stays cool enough to hold. That is not a design decision — it is how the form evolved through use.
Use it for coffee, tea, or espresso. It works on a breakfast table, a kitchen shelf, or grouped with others as part of a Moroccan-inspired table setting.
