A handmade ceramic bowl from Tamegroute, hand-thrown by skilled potters in southern Morocco. Each bowl is finished with Tamegroute's distinctive ochre glaze, with warm tones ranging from golden amber to soft honey. The glaze creates a luminous surface that shifts beautifully in the light, with visible brushwork and organic texture that reflects centuries of Moroccan craftsmanship. No two bowls are identical.

Perfect for serving fruit, salads, or sharing dishes, or as a sculptural accent left unfilled on a console, shelf, or dining table. The warm ochre complements wood, brass, terracotta, linen, and neutral palettes beautifully. Handmade and glazed by hand, then fired in traditional underground wood-fired kilns using centuries-old techniques. Each bowl bears the mark of its maker — slight variations in colour and form that define genuine, handmade pottery.

Why the Chips and Marks Are Authentic

Tamegroute bowls are stacked vertically during firing. Where pottery touches, minor glaze chips occur naturally. Where ash settles, it creates soft marks and colour variation in the ochre tone. Where glaze runs, it pools unevenly. This is the exact opposite of smooth, uniform ceramic production.

Each piece carries the story of the kiln and the fire. The variations in glaze depth, the chips at the rim, the asymmetry in the form—these are fingerprints of handmade pottery, not flaws. They prove a Moroccan artisan shaped this by hand and fired it using traditional methods that cannot be replicated by machines.

When you own Tamegroute pottery, you own durability and a piece that gets better with age.
