Authentic Tamegroute pottery plate in green, handmade and wood-fired in Southern Morocco by skilled artisans. This is real handmade—not mass-produced. Every plate is shaped by hand from local mineral-rich clay. The distinctive green glaze is applied by hand, then fired in underground wood-fired kilns using centuries-old techniques. No two plates are identical.
The handmade form is organic and rustic. Perfect for dining, serving, or as a decorative display piece. Hand wash recommended to preserve the glaze. Built to last decades.

Why the Chips and Marks Are Authentic
Tamegroute plates are stacked vertically during firing. Where pottery touches, minor glaze chips occur naturally. Where ash settles, it creates soft marks and colour variation. Where glaze runs, it pools unevenly. This is the exact opposite of smooth, uniform ceramic production.
Each piece carries the story of the kiln and the fire. The variations in glaze depth, the chips at the rim or base, the asymmetry in the form—these are fingerprints of handmade pottery, not flaws. They prove a Moroccan artisan shaped this by hand and fired it using traditional methods that cannot be replicated by machines.
When you own Tamegroute pottery, you own durability and a piece that gets better with age.
