Authentic Tamegroute pottery candlestick, handmade and wood-fired in the Draa Valley, Morocco. Every candlestick is hand-thrown on a traditional wheel using local clay, then glazed in cream. The potter deliberately splashes green glaze across the surface in a unique pattern—no two splatters are identical. Fired in underground wood-fired kilns using centuries-old techniques. The splattered glaze melts during firing, creating contrast between the warm cream base and moss-green accents. No two candlesticks are identical.

Perfect for candlelit dinners, mantels, sideboards, or shelves. Each holds a standard taper candle securely. Hand wash recommended. Built to last.

Why the Chips and Marks Are Authentic

Tamegroute candlesticks are stacked rim-to-base during firing. Where pottery touches, minor glaze chips occur naturally. Where ash lands, it creates soft marks and colour variation. Where glaze flows, it pools unevenly. This is the exact opposite of smooth, uniform ceramic production.

Each piece carries the story of the kiln and the fire. The variations in glaze depth, the chips at edges, the colour shifts from warm cream to deep green accents—these are fingerprints of handmade pottery, not flaws. They prove a Moroccan artisan shaped this by hand and fired it using traditional methods that cannot be replicated by machines.

When you own Tamegroute pottery, you own durability and a piece that gets better with age.
