Tamegroute Handled Vase — Green
A classic two-handled vase from the pottery village of Tamegroute in southern Morocco.
Its rounded form, decorative zig-zag band, and luminous green glaze capture the essence of Moroccan craftsmanship — bold, imperfect, and full of life.
The Craft
Hand-thrown using local Saharan clay, each vase is fired in underground kilns that give Tamegroute pottery its distinctive colour and texture.
Mineral oxides fuse with the clay during firing, producing deep emerald and moss tones that vary beautifully from piece to piece.
The glaze flows organically, leaving subtle drips and burn marks that reveal the authentic kiln process.
Styling
Display as a sculptural accent on a console, sideboard, or dining table.
Perfect with wild stems, dried grasses, or left empty as a statement art object.
Its earthy green palette pairs effortlessly with linen, oak, and neutral interiors.
